- SCADA Communication through OFC
Existing Communication System – SCADA
How it Works?
- All Substation Breakers/Panels are connected to Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) through Sealed & Armed twisted cable and data’s are obtained by RTU from Breaker/Panel.
- A Router positioned at RTU, leads all data’s to the base station of communication service provider through media converter or through POE.
- From Base station, data’s are transmitted to communication service provider's cloud.
- Base station which will be available at receivers end receives data’s from cloud and feeds the data’s to router available at Control Centre through media converter or through POE.
- From Router the data’s reach servers at Control Centre through switch.
Proposed Communication System - SCADA
How it Works?
- All Substation Breakers/Panels are connected to Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) through Sealed & Armed twisted cable and data’s are obtained by RTU from Breaker/Panel.
- A Router positioned at RTU will Route all data’s to the newly placed Media converter.
- From the Media converter at transmitter end, all the data’s will be reliably sent to the other media converter placed at receiver end.
- From the Media converter positioned at receiver’s end, data’s are sent reliably to server through switch.
